Youth programs
Three ways to train.
All three run year round at Kratos 1 and all three let you pick your days week to week. The difference is where your kid is in their development.
Youth Development
A real athletic foundation: how to sprint, cut, land, balance and control their own body. This is the work everything else gets built on, coached to be fun enough that they want to come back.
- Speed, agility and footwork
- Coordination and body control
- Ability level: beginner to intermediate
Month to month. No contracts, cancel any time.
Schedule
- Sunday, 5:00 to 6:00 pm
- Monday through Thursday, 5:30 to 6:30 pm
You do not sign up for set days. You pick a weekly frequency and choose the days that work that week. Two to three sessions a week is the recommendation, and one consistent session still moves the needle.
Training focus
- Basic movement patterns
- Core strength
- Mobility and stability
- Balance and landing
- Joint development
- Having fun

The next step up. Same foundation, more intent behind it. These athletes are starting to compete seriously, so the training sharpens speed, change of direction and strength through their fastest growth years.
- Speed, agility and quickness
- Core strength and physical development
- Ability level: beginner to intermediate
Month to month. No contracts, cancel any time.
Schedule
- Sunday, 6:00 to 7:00 pm
- Monday through Thursday, 6:30 to 7:30 pm
- Summer only, June 1 to July 30, adds Tuesday and Thursday 11:00 am to 12:00 pm
Flexible scheduling. Two to three sessions a week is recommended, and one consistent session a week is still significant at this age.
Training focus
- Movement patterns and technique
- Coordination and body control
- Mobility and flexibility
- Stability
- Joint and spinal development
- Nervous system development

Private training pairs your kid one on one with a specific coach. Semi-private lets you build your own small group, siblings, teammates or a couple of friends. Either way you set the schedule directly with that coach and the session is shaped around what your kid needs.
- One on one, or a private group you choose
- Schedule set directly with your coach
- Programming built for one kid, not a class
Rates depend on frequency and group size, so we talk it through on a call first. No commitment.
How it works
The consultation is a 30 minute phone call. You talk through your kid's sports, what they are working on, how they handle a group setting and what your schedule actually allows. From there we recommend a format, a frequency and a coach, and you decide.
Who it fits
- Kids who need more one on one attention
- Working around a packed practice schedule
- A specific skill or movement to fix
- Coming back from an injury
- Siblings or teammates training together
- Kids who do better outside a bigger group

The foundation years matter most
What a kid learns about moving well between grade school and junior high is what every sport they play later gets built on. Skip it and they spend high school catching up.
Why parents pick Kratos
Certified coaches, not trainers
More CSCS-certified coaches than any gym in Nebraska. Every session is run by one of them.
Built around your week
No set days. Come the nights that fit around practice, games and school.
Nothing to cancel out of
Month to month. If it is not the right fit, you stop. That is the whole policy.
Questions parents ask
What happens in the free trial session?
Your kid joins a regular class. Warm up, movement work, the day's training, coached the whole way through. You are welcome to stay and watch. Nobody is going to call you afterward and pressure you.
My kid has never lifted or trained before. Is this too much?
No. Both groups are built for beginners. The early work is body control, sprinting mechanics and basic patterns, coached at the level the kid is at.
Do we have to commit to specific days?
No. You choose how many sessions per week and then show up on the days that work that week. It can change week to week.
What should they bring?
Athletic shoes, athletic clothes and a water bottle. That is it.
Where is it?
Kratos 1, 1220 Aries Drive, Lincoln, NE 68512.
One session. Then you decide.
The trial session is free and there is nothing to cancel afterward.
